In April 2012, the first Meiwei Meike location opened at Nanping Wanda in Chongqing. With its distinctive flavors and business model, it quickly sparked a malatang sensation across the city.
Over the following 14 years leading up to 2026, Meiwei Meike has grown to operate 400+ locations worldwide, expanding into 22 provinces and 53 cities — primarily Chongqing, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Anhui, Guizhou, and Henan — establishing itself as a powerhouse brand in China's malatang fast food sector.
